If you're wondering where to take a short break or annual family holiday its worth remembering the many activities and attractions in and around Torquay. Recently six English Riviera businesses scooped awards at two prestigious ceremonies. The South Devon Excellence Awards took place at South Devon College where Kents Cavern won the Best Tourism Attraction award, with Pennywell Farm in second place and Paignton Zoo in third. Also for those of you attending a conference its worth noting that the Riviera International Centre won a silver award for Business Tourism, the Centre being just 300 metres away from our guest house!

As both Steve and myself were born in Cheltenham/Gloucester and having spent most of our lives living between the two we are somewhat split on our loyalities, however we are looking forward to receiving our 'Cheltenham ' guests who are coming to support their team.
